About This Archive

A preservation project for PlayStation® 3 avatars

This site preserves PlayStation® 3 avatars. They're grouped into packs (one per game or content bundle) and filed by region, mirroring the original folder layout of the collection.

What's Included

  • A searchable catalogue of every avatar, with a page for each game or bundle.
  • Preview images (PNG) so you can see what each avatar looks like.
  • The actual avatar files (.edat), byte-identical to the source.

How Packs Are Built

Each avatar is an .edat file (the avatar itself) plus a PNG preview. Folders that belong to the same game or series are combined into a single pack. When a game exists in more than one region, the pack shows every region it appears in, and each avatar card shows its own region.

Regions

  • US EU Japan Asia - the PlayStation Store region the avatar was released in.
  • Unknown - avatars whose original store listing couldn't be found. They're grouped by theme instead, such as Text, Skulls or Animals.

Previews vs. Avatar Files

The PNG is only a preview. The Download button on each card gives you the .edat avatar file. See the Install Guide for how to put it on your PS3.
